This small village of only 700 inhabitants, is one of the most unique, picturesque and most visited villages of Mallorca. Both were united until 1837, this was the year when Fornalutx separated to be an independent municipality. The history of this town began more than 1,000 years ago, being an Arab estate. The population of the area began after the conquest. Fornalutx is located just five minutes from Soller and Port de Sóller, and about 20 minutes from Palma.
